Will Google Assistant allow me to launch a movie from any installed app like I can with Plex and Alexa on my AndroidTV Plex Player?
Not yet. Currently Google Assistant can launch movies from Netflix and YouTube.
It also interacts with Spotify which, if not already, is moving into videos.
When watching videos, it had some cool functions... pause, skip ahead ("skip two minutes "), go back, play next video.
Sorry, but no Plex compatibility yet.
