Sideloaded Chrome, logged into Amazon, accepted their device registration nonsense @ the bottom of the screen & use either an air mouse or remote with track pad to control everything. I use the SD app to browse tho, being it works beyond better than the Chrome setup.

Has been posted here before, but I always read people saying it doesn't work so I figured I would post some proof. The touch control overlay doesn't always pop up tho (but its not a problem being you're using a mouse/trackpad for all controls) as you can see from the above screenshot.

I was ready to do this until I realised my TV at some point in recent weeks got a firmware update that installed prime video as a default app. Smart tvs aren't defunct yet.

Wow, (almost) everyone is so 'gracious' about a free temp solution to an issue people who own a Mi Box are having, almost makes me want to share me Rii I8+ control command list, including access to recent menu & power key combos, but why bother.. for more shit talk from the lazy flock? Figure the rest out for yourselves, like I did, I'm out.

Almost forgot, always start viewing 'from the beginning' never continue (never plays for me that way) & certain shows intermittently 'hang up' upon start due to that new ad crap they have at the beginning, if this happens to you, just hit FF or > (right) on your D-pad & it will skip ahead & start whichever show you're wanting to watch.
