Ever since I updated my wired connection stops working occasionally and it forgets my NAS on every reboot, it is becoming a real pain in the ass. Anyone else experiencing these issues?
First things first, I would do a factory reset on the Shield Console and see if that fixed the wired connection issue.
Second are you accessing the NAS via UNC? What are you accessing? Media files like movies and such? Are you using something like Plex to play those files?
Are talking about the new 5.1 update? I seem to get frequent random drops too (Ethernet 2017/pro) pinging the shield goes from generally <1ms all the way to >1500 and infrequently times out :/ pinging FROM the shield seems to completely fine though :S
Hey did you ever get this figured out? I drop my nas connection on every reboot and I don't remember it happening before. It's driving me crazy.
Yup, same issue but on wifi. Keeps losing connection to the shared partitions on my PC. I have to reconfigure them every time.
