I stupidly updated the OS on my Mi Box, and then I noticed that my harmony hub was no longer working.
I had previously set it up using the harmony software as a Fire TV (so I could get access to play/pause/stop/etc media buttons) and it was working great, but now it just flat out refuses to pair. I can't pair it as a Nexus Player either. Just As a Xiamoi Media Player, which is no good because it uses IR instead of bluetooth, which has always given me the problem of double-presses and other laggy behavior.
I searched but only saw this thread, which is a few months old:
Anyone else experiencing this? I'm really frustrated. I'd really appreciate any help.
edit: for anyone stumbling on this from a google search, I fixed the issue. It was on logitech's end. I reset the Harmony Hub to factory settings and set it up as a new hub. Pairing with MiBox using Bluetooth worked just fine after doing that.
Which OS version are you on?
I've paired my Mi Box as a "Windows Computer" via Bluetooth. That gives you even more button options (numbers for example), although you'll have to do some of the button mapping your self.
