[HELP] Shield TV not waking up

After an extended time in sleep mode, my Shield (2017) isn't waking up. When I push a button on the remote the green light on the box lights up, but nothing shows on my TV. Pulling the power cord fixes it. I've replaced my HDMI cable to no avail.

My Shield is plugged into an Onkyo AV receiver. It works great once the picture shows up. I've taken to just not letting the box sleep.

Any insight would be appreciated.

I've have something similar although I don't use an AVR(though use a soundbar with ARC TV >soundbar<>shield) I think my problem is the TV itself (sony android tv) when I turn on the shield some times it gives me a blank output the way I get it to work is by going to input and selecting the shield input and then it displays everything fine

Experienced the same thing with my Shield 2017 16Gb. If I wait long enough (~2/3 minutes) the Shield would reboot by itself and then everything would come back to normal. I contacted Nvidia who after asking me to follow a few procedures asked me to return the unit for an exchange. They never cared to explained what the problem was despite me asking.
