The trick to sideload "must have" and "non-Google Play Store" App on Android TV

by bandusix

Hi, recently I try to use ES file explorer to sideload SHOWBOX to my MI mibox, but I am tired of this stupid set-ups, and I just google to find some easiest way to sideoload. And I know the cetusplay from my relative, installed the CetusPlay TV server on the Andrond TV from Android TV Google Play Store, using the Samsung s6(android device) with CetusPlay mobile version installed to sideload app to Mi Box( Terrarium TV, showbox, mobdro, LiveNet TV, SolidStreamz and UKTVNOW, etc.) , but I want iOS version much more.

If you want the iOS version, buy an AppleTV.

You can try out #SIDELOADTAG on Google Play. It uses bit.ly links to download apk files to your TV.

ES File Explorer is easily the worst Bloatware, Adware, Trashware, Spyware App on the Play Store.

Its going to do strange things to Android TV systems you have not even discovered yet.

Use the Xplore App from the Play Store. Enable WiFi Server. Note down the IP address and plug that into a PC Webbrowser and Upload Apps to the Mi Box's Downloads folder. Install Apps from Xplore and then use the Sideload/Launcher App if you cannot find them.
