Netflix just sits on user select screen when Casting

Whenever I cast Netflix from the Netflix app on my phone, the Netflix app on my Android TV opens up just fine, but then it just sits on the screen that allows you to choose the Netflix user profile you wish to use. It never successfully opens the stream. I'm using a Mi Box and casting from iPhone. Anybody else have this issue/know of a fix?

Had the same issue on my Sony Bravia. Sometimes it works, others it doesn't. I've ended up just using the Netflix app rather than casting

Never had this on my Nexus player but it happens about once every two weeks when I open the Netflix app on my 2016 Samsung TV. Maybe it's a wider Netflix issue and not just Android TV.

I've had this problem recently on my nexus player, must be something to do with android tv.

This happens if you are casting from a different user account than the one opened on the cast receiving device.

Yup, same thing with my iPhone and Mi Box. You'll notice that it never even connects. I Googled it and there are work around but I have yet to try.
