Does adclear run on the mi box if you side load the app
What kind of ads are you getting? For games and such or are you talking about in movies (IE Crackle)?
I think generally the only good ad blocks are for rooted devices or network based. Honestly you best option is to find apps that are high enough quality that you are willing to pay for. Sometimes easier said than done though.
