Hey guys, I want to thank you for all of the help you guys have been giving me.
Is this box an actual Android TV Os, or does it just run a mobile version of android?
I was also wondering if the box actually supports 4K60FPS (Don't truly care about the 4K bit) and 108060FPS as advertised.
I honestly couldn't give a rat's ass about it being jail broken. I just want an affordable Android TV box. The Nvidia Shield TV is just a little too out of my price range, and I've been hearing mixed views on the Mi-box. Thank you for the help.
Edit: I'd appreciate if you guys know of a better alternative too.
There's only 5 Android TV devices ever made that are separate boxes/consoles that you attach to your TV, and only 2 of them are available right now for purchase brand new: the $70 Mi Box or the $200/$300 Shield TV. The rest of Android TV's lineup are televisions.
Actually, there's some new DirecTV(?) box that might count as a 6th one. It recently came out.
