The 'TV Software Update' tile on the homescreen now says that they temporarily halted the Marshmallow update because of technical issues and that they will miss their originaly promised delivery date (aka 22.02 - 08.03).
Funny enough the hard working devs at sony managed to find the time to install bloatware, ehem, Amazon Video. So yeah, enjoy, I guess.
ugh. I hate owning one of these. They're so buggy for such an expensive product. Should have bought a "dumb" TV with a smart box, or old laptop hooked up to it.
I grabbed the marshmallow update for my TV before it was rolled out and I'm getting issues where the TV doesn't wake from sleep. Takes a few minutes and usually reboots.
Is this only for older TVs? I have a 2016 Sony and it's been running Marshmallow without problems for a few months.
Amazon video is nice, unless you can't remove.
