Had the new shield for a few weeks. One thing i've found really annoying is that if I pause something im watching long enough that the shield sleeps or goes to screen saver, when i come back its always back on the main menu and i have to navigate back to what i was watching. Is this just how it is? Is anyone else very annoyed by this?
I noticed this when I left the Amazon app about to start a show, when I came back it was on screen saver and then went back to the home screen when I pushed a button. I could understand Nvidia calling it a feature where if the Shield was sitting around long enough for the screen saver to come on then it's likely the user isn't interested in returning to where they were when they come back.
I didn't have the forethought to try it but maybe if you double tap the home button to bring up the recents list you can at least get back to the same place within the app?
