Did anyone ever find a workaround for the AC3 issues?

Turning off direct play/stream/passthrough doesn't seem to do anything at all.
Audio plays fine but Video keeps freezing

Casting from my phone works fine. I just stopped using the app.
Even easier install the Plex plugin for Plex. It's in the Kodi repository. Probably the best Plex client available.
The only solution I've found is using Kodi with the Plex plugin.
