Like wow, borderline ps2 looking to me, for some reason everything was really dark and I just hated all of it. This is a good TV, even with it's flaws that have been pointed out by people like Phil Nickinson who has it, but definitely don't buy it for the HDR.
From what I've read, it's an 8bit panel which means it's only faking HDR and it's wider color gamut. Unfortunately there is a common occurrence with TV OEM's like Samsung, and apparently Le Eco, these days taking advantage of customers who don't know they need a 10bit panel.
