Control Shield from Google Assistant?

Has anyone been able to control their Shield from the Google Assistant on their phone?

I think that part isn't out yet.  It's an update from Google which will roll out to all android TV 6.0 and 7.0 devices at the same time.

you can say things like 'play XYZ on youtube on XYZ (name of your shield)'

Its working only on google home, not on google assistant on phones...
