I just went to my brother's house to compare our Mi Boxes. My Mi Box is not working with netflix and when I connect it to every LCD or LED tvs It shows HDCP unprotected. My Brother's Mi Box don't have any issues with netflix and HDCP values show 1.x.

There's no rhyme or reason for the non working Netflix. I've bought 3 of these boxes. Every box (2) I've ordered online from Walmart had the issue. Exchanging it at my local Walmart the boxes worked fine. No clear reason for it. Hope you can get yours exchanged!

I heard it was a tv thing and also heard it is a batch of bad boxes. Maybe your best bet is to exchange it for a new one.
