Mi Box audio no longer working

Today I noticed that there is no Audio when using my Mi Box anymore. I currently have a Samsung TV. Mi Box is connected to TV via HDMI. Optical cable connected from TV to Vizio sound bar. I have not changed any audio settings on my TV. I also have not changed any audio settings on my Mi Box

Sound works on all other inputs (Comcast TV, Apple TV, etc). Under Audio settings > Digital sounds on my Mi Box, I have Auto detection selected (SPDIF Passthrough).

I've rebooted/restarted 5x now with no luck. Anyone else running into this problem??

is it possible you connected BT headphones to your mibox and it's connecting to those?

Hmm. Mi Box connected to TV via HDMI but Digital sounds set to SPDIF passthru? Shouldn't it also be set to HDMI?

The mi box has volume on its remote (independent of the tv). Make sure that volume is all the way up.

Its easy enough for an app to cause it to go all the way down for whatever reason, and for people to forget about the Mi Box's volume when use to using TV volume.

The other week I lost audio from all apps except Kodi. Had to factory reset. Everything's fine now.
