Back in the day, and long before the Nintendo Switch, I used to sync my progress/save files between my phone (played with a Moga controller that held my phone) & Transformer T201 tablet (used a PS3 controller; played directly on tablet itself or plugged it into my TV via mini-HDMI). I did it by pointing to the game saves folder with Dropsync and making sure both clients were in sync. It was a bit clunky, didn't work 100% of the time, and I'm sure could have been better... but it did work for the most part.
Is that still the best solution around? I'd love to start digging into some older SNES & N64 RPGs, and the idea of plugging away a little on my phone at work, and then picking up where I left off and getting after it on my Shield TV sounds great.
Thanks in advance!
I have launchbox on my computer and I use gamestream to get it on my Shield. Could use moonlight for phones/tablets.
Steaming isn't so great, still. As it gets better, so will this setup.
