The best launcher for a Android TV box is the leanback launcher. Is your box a Android TV box such as the Mi box or the Shield or is it a Chinese android box that you hook to a TV?  There is a large difference between the two.

I run Nova Prime (unrooted) along side the stock launcher on the US Mi Box.. Functions like a phone in landscape mode. Each have their Pro's/Con's, user opinion varying.
