Live Channels?
Get a HDHR tuner and then use Live Channels.

PSVue, Sling, DirecTV Now (no android tv app yet). You have to pay for those though but all three offer better channel lineups than pluto tv. You pay for what you get and since pluto tv is free, that's what you get.
Depending on your device crackle. Can't get it working on my shield but they moved to a live tv like format with category channels. You can still access on demand in it.
cumulustv? that's all i use for live TV.
Pluto TV used to be great, until they chose to geo-block the Live Channels support, so I can only get to their old channels through the app AND there's NO Live Channels support... so, it basically sucks as much as getting Chinese TV through HDP...
I did a free trial of some SmartDNS and pluto was actually quite good, for those 2 weeks.
