I am a casual gamer and sometimes I like to game with friends - so as an impulse buy I puchased 3 of the Asus TV500BG Controllers for $15 each . I hope they are compatible with the NVIDIA shield, does anyone have experience with them?

I have a few from the Nexus Player liquidation. Great controller, works over Bluetooth. Tried it over my Chromebook with emulators and Android games no problem, also on Windows. Assuming it should work anywhere. Just a reminder that the Start and Select buttons are hard mapped to Home and Recents button, respectively. Unless remapped, not ideal for emulators
I use this Asus gamepad regularly, prefer it over the OG shield controller. Also used in conjunction with a Xbox USB wireless dongle and 360 controllers with no issue.
I have three of them with my Shield. They work great. I use them with moonlight for 4 player shared screen steam games with my kids. Gamestream seems to have trouble recognizing the controllers as separate, but moonlight is awesome.
Wow, thanks for sharing, going to grab a couple myself.
I'm pretty sure the nvidia shield is only compatible with nvidia controllers. Check their website. Hope you haven't just wasted money on your impulse buy.
I have used this exact model with Shield TV gen 2 and there was no issue. Pretty solid controller IMO, especially for the price.
