Legit android tv box Canada?

by Betrayedof52

I just realized the difference in a legit tv box and the crooked ass stuff on Amazon and eBay that is horrible to try and make work. I'm sick of using them.

Been looking at MI box but 130+tax is a lot at this moment. Just curious what are my options in Canada for Android tv box. Is that my cheapest bet? I would prefer less then a, 150 after tax.

If that's the cheapest bet then I guess I'll wait. But willing to hear any options. Thanks.

Drive over to buffalo and walk into a Walmart store?

I bought 2 off eBay here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/262666675147?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

$103USD with shipping, no import duties/tax. $138CAD (but there is no addition tax after that)

I'm Canadian and got a mi box through eBay. After trial and error with Android boxes, found the mi box was by far the best. Just ordered another one for bedroom tv

I am looking to replace a nexus player as its getting long in the tooth. High quality streams are stressing it out.

Is the Shield worth the premium of the MiBox? Note: I don't need 4K

Out of curiosity how much do I have to do when I get a MI box I'm totally fine setting it up. Does it come with Google play? I really just plan on downloading Netflix and kodi. Does it come with Google play?

I got mine from NCIX for 130.

What are you trying to get out of the box? Stream free content? Just get a Chromecast for 35$ and download terrarium tv app and bubbleupnp, buy bubbleupnp for 6$.

You can probably find a used 1st gen Shield TV for around the price you want. The hardware is essentially identical to the new one (or better, the new one actually takes away some ports the 1st gen had), and then you won't need a new box in a few years when your TV dies and you get a new 4K TV.

If you are anywhere near the US border, take a drive down to a US Walmart and grab a $69 (USD) Mi TV box.

SPMC (a Kodi fork) works amazingly well on it (direct from the Google Play store) as do the other key apps I use (Spotify, Netflix, Youtube, MLB.tv, etc)

The MI Box is just about your only option unless you find a nexus player on eBay.

To me, Shield is better compared to others. Anyone this review link & list might help you. Website: https://bestandroidtvbox.co/best-android-tv-box-for-canada-2017-experts-guide/
