Yes, there is. Go into Settings>Preferences>Homescreen & set it to 'On' to show Amazon Video content in your Recommendation row. Just got my Pro this morning, but it's basically the same setup as the Mi Box under the hood, just with more options & the menu displaying on the right side of the screen.
Tell amazon to unfuck themselves and develop a less shitty app.
