Hi all

I have an Amlogic S905 M8s+. It's running KitKat 4.4. With Kodi 17 being released and the streams moving over to protocols which utilise Lollipop and higher I wanted to update KitKat.

I've downloaded a couple of firmware updates and but them on an SD card but I'm having issues finding the recovery mode. I understand that you can use a cotton bud or tooth pic to access a button down the AV receiver. Which I've tried. I can feel and hear the click, however there is no recovery mode bring displayed onscreen when the power is plugged in.

Can anyone offer me any advice regarding how to proceed with this?
