Hello /r/AndroidTV, I am interested in making an application for Android TV, however based on previous experiences developing for Android mobile, am aware that I will likely have to make sure that I handle device quirks on a per device basis. Does anyone have any data regarding what Android TV models are the most frequently used ones, in order to facilitate getting the best ROI when testing on individual devices? Thanks.
Probably safe to get a MiBox from Walmart. Probably the most cost effective option. If your app can run well on that, it should run on everything else.
