SO glad to see updates coming form Xiaomi!

I still want Nougat, but this'll help me be patient while they work on it.

As has already been mentioned numerous times you need to use the DRMInfo App to see what is going on with HDCP copy protection that Netflix uses.

HDCP 2.2 reported as unprotected = No Netflix on a 4K TV

HDCP 1.x reported as unprotected = No Netflix on a 1080p TV

Any trouble shooting needs the Mi Box directly connected to the TV. The TV/AVR may even need a Firmware update first.

I compared it. The Netflix app was upgraded. It's actually using the same version from the leaked Nougat beta firmware.

Any improvements to Casting stability? I've been having to reboot my Mi Box every couple of days to re-enable Casting :/

Just got this too in the UK. No noticeable changes thus far. Netflix always worked for me (no4k TV). Good to see they're still supporting this box though.

I came here to find out why Netflix wasn't working on both of my miboxes at the same time they have worked all along I'm updating them now and assume it will prob fix the issue

Update the update didn't work Netflix was still saying can't access but works fine now after removing and reinstalling Netflix

Upgraded mine. Tried netflix and got a 111 error upon load screen.

Deleted the netflix cache and tried again. Same 111 error.

Deleted the data and tried again. Had to log in again because of that but this time it worked.

Videos loaded just fine for me. Everything seems to be working like it should.

Is it just me, or is the Youtube 60fps video stutter issue back?

Why Netflix on the MiBox doesn't have voice search like on the Nexus player, isn't it the same version?

Mi box auto updates?? I seen this and opened to update, it already updated to the version u posted.. I remember for previous updates I did manually clicked update and restart?

Do you guys get notified when there's an update? I'm always doing weekly checks.

Didn't fix the Netflix "tvq-pm-100" error with my 4k TV. Still being reported as "unprotected". Have no problems playing UHD Netflix with same TV and HDMI cable using my Shield TV. This is the 2nd MiBox (both from Walmart) that does this.

The NBC news app no longer crashes.

Edit: After extended use, still no problems. With old update, it would play the first news video, then play a short ad and that's where it crashed... each and every time.

I need to check and see if mine has updated. I used to NEVER have issues with Netflix, but now I haven't been able to watch anything on Netflix for about a week now.

Poop, this comes out after I update to Nougat. Can anyone that is having Netflix issues confirm that this resolves it for them?
