This reminds me, I've been looking for a gel/TPU skin for it so that I don't worry about tossing it onto my coffee table.
EDIT: tried searching, no luck... was able to find skins for the console and gamepad, but nothing like a gel/TPU case for the brushed metal remote

I'm in the same situation. Need to do something like this, but that looks like a potential papercut..or vinyl cut hazard, every time you use the volume slider.
I used some leftover glow-in-the-dark duct tape on my remote. It doesn't look as nice as yours does, but it's functional...

This is a great idea. I know Home Depot sells reflective tape under $5. Bought some for my garbage can after it got hit 2 times. Thanks for sharing.
