Had an update pop up on my 2015 Sony Bravia X850C. Not sure what it contains yet, will report back here with details (installing now). Any one else just get this in North America?

Update: Looks like it's nothing to write home about. This update didn't bump up the Android version for me and it's still 6.0.1. Those of you who are not yet on 6.0.1, hopefully this update is going to bring some good news; meaning they might have fixed whatever bugs they had when they tried to release 6.0.1 previously.

The only positive thing I see so far is that it's on the April 2017 security patch level.

The only feature I really want is the ability to hold the home button and close recent apps; not in this update. Someday...

Might be the promised 6.0 update which was pulled the other month probably due to some major bug, let us know if it actually makes it useable also if there is an audio sync adjustments.

I'm going to wait a while b fore I consider updating mine.

There were indeed quite a few bugs in it. I installed an early release and got a plethora of annoying, but not setious bugs. -ARC wasn't working smoothly. (couldnt hold volume, it would just get in a negative feedback loop with receiver and just jump up 2 and then down 2) -"Hueymodule has stopped working" pop ups. (also a few others) -Tv felt slower to pick up a video stream such as youtube or Plex. -motionflow settings on one of the Hdmi ports didn't configure correctly.

Someone on the inside told me had an early beta testing if this solved it and assured me that the update was coming out Wednesday, so today. Currently installing it as well and have high hopes for it. They may not get it right first time (like right after launch) they do fix it neatly!

I did this update yesterday on my US 2015 which I had manually upgraded to 6.01 previously via USB.

When the TV restarted, Leanback would no longer launch. I had a solid grey screen. All apps could be launched by voice including Settings, but not Leanback. TVInteractivePlatform kept crashing and popping up an "Unfortunately" message.

I did a factory reset and it's back to normal, but what a pain for a minor update.
