TeamViewer Host version 12.1.6777 now crashes every time on my Shield TV ... it used to work. Any way to fix this?

As I wrote in the nvidia specific sub, I have the same problem with an entirely fresh install of the app.
I dislike that it's necessary to use 3rd party apps for this (since google already does its own screen-sharing/remote-control on PC). I pay premium for a premium device, LAN integration (network file services (DLNA included) and remote control) should come in-the-box...
