Gamestreaming it from PC to your Android TV device (with either the built in Gamestream app if on a SHIELD, or with Moonlight on other Android TV devices - also providing you have a PC with an Nvidia GPU GTX 6xx Series card for either scenario) is how you can play it. There are other apps that gamestream to Android TV devices that don't have the Nvidia GPU requirement; but they're shoddy in one aspect or another. For a simple game like Terraria though they might work.
Just tried it on mine using a GameSir G3s & the right analog stick acts as/moves the mouse around & R2 makes him swing his sword when pulled. Cant get him to move tho..?
If it supports controllers in Android then you should be able to sideload it to Android TV and it should work.
I own it on my Fire TV stick. I'll extract it and see if it runs on the Shield.
