Comes already installed on shield tv. And I also see another version of Vudu in the googleplay store.
I think Vudu is only available on certain models. I can't seem to get it for my Nexus Player.
For any non rental you should have an ultraviolet copy. You can setup a FandangoNOW and link it to your UV library.
If your internet is crappy though, FandangoNOW is really bad at buffering lower res, and you'll get a lot of buffering. Otherwise, it should work great.
