Got one of these today, had to return, as it was stuck on boot screen, and nothing seemed to reset. 2nd one working, but I have a question about prime on this.
The live TV app doesn't see it as a source. Installed​ instatv, and that seems to work, but it has an annoying warning about needing to make an in app purchase with every channel change.
How does this usually work for others? I'd like to just add the tuner, as that's what it seems like it needs. Newer fw needed on prime? Some other thing I'm missing?? If nothing else, how to pay for instatv to stop warning.
Btw, neat box so far.
Update - ok, found hdhomerun (beta) app in play store. Tried it as a source and it's horrible compared to instatv. News ticker, sports tickers, look like shit. Decoding in general looks worse.
Think I'll find a way to pay for instatv. How can silicondust not equal this instatv app for quality of video??
