If Nvidia is going to charge $50 for the 2017 remote like they did for the 2015 version, then I would rather spend a bit more ($67) on a Harmony Hub .
Honestly, you don't want one. It's basically unusable, and even though they've updated it to fix the problems, they still persist. It's incredibly laggy, ignores lots of input, and generally takes a couple of seconds (sometimes over 30 seconds) to respond to input.
You might need to go through Nvidia. Since the remotes are included with all new Shield models, I don't know if they're selling them at retail at the moment.
