This is hard to believe becuase just recently they delayed Marshmallow update. Still on 5.1 (2015 Sony TV - W755 model)
I got the notification today. At least I assume that's what the update is.
Anyway, where are all the smart asses who promised up and down this sub that these TV's would NEVER get updates? I'd love to go back and find those posts so we know which idiots are on here talking out their ass all the time.
You should be able to download the update off their site and manually install via USB That's what I did.

I literally just got Marshmallow last week, so I'm going to go ahead and say, probably not. And yes, that was after the notification that updates would be pushed after December. Sony is super slow at delivering these updates.
When I bought my 65 inch Sony HDR TV it was labelled as 2016, but the about settings has it down as 2015. I was robbed.

yep I noticed the new buttons on my Bravia last night.
I had an update on mine yesterday as well. I'm still on 6.0.1 but I have April 1 security patches.
And version 6 is still not out in Australia yet :(
