nope, I've tried numerous versions on my Shield and nothing works. Only work around it to tab cast from the Stream app off a web browser.
Don't think they'll ever push it cause it eats in their bottom line.
It's on the way. You can use the app on some roku devices now.

my money says itll never come. hell, comcast still doesnt even authorize the use of HBO Go on the android tv. but apple gets everything from them. makes no fucking sense.
Comcast does. They actually demo'ed it on an Nvidia Shield TV at some convention. Then it seemed to be shelved when the FCC got their new republican chair, who said he wouldn't be putting pressure on cable companies to provide apps for non-provider hardware (not meant as a political statement, that's just the truth of the matter).
Comcast did indicate that it might be a later option, but that they would actually charge a fee for using the app. (yes, really).
