like it on my mibox. room for improvement but i love it for playing flash video.
The regular Puffin for Android is fairly dodgy, in that it sends all of your requests and user input to their server, where it is actually rendered and then streamed back to your device. This is how it allowed Flash content to be played and such. Does this use that same technology? I wouldn't feel comfortable logging into any sites with it, but for just reading news and such it might be fine. I love the on-screen cursor, assuming it actually is responsive enough.
I hope the next Android TV controller has a trackpad just like the daydream controller. That would solve all of these problems.
First run after install only shows grey screen. Had to force close the app. Second time running the app works , but is pretty slow. After opening the first test page (the weather channel) the app closes on me. Third time, same problem. Uninstalled the app - not usable on my MiBox3
Currently using Chrome on Mi Box to stream Pens v. Caps. Great quality and the page loads as it would on a desktop.
I couldnt get flash streams to load with Puffin TV browser on the Mibox, I tried multiple links from MLBstreams, NHLstreams reddit pages. I even tried the NBC sports site but no videos ever loaded. Switch to Chrome and it works, but overall chrome is way less smooth on the mibox for some reason. Is there something you have to do for flash?
That's interesting
I tried out a number of browsers for ATV , and Puffin was my favorite.
