My HDHomerun Prime works fine with Live channels. Is that what you are talking about?
My HDHomerun extend stops working on Nvidia Shield TV when I flip channels at a rate that is too fast, but is really a pretty normal channel flipping speed.
I get Apple TV and Nexus player updates the day they come out. I don't really get the hype about nvidia being good with updates. Didn't nougat come out a year ago?

A new update is coming soon. Maybe it will come then.
I would just be happy we're still getting feature rich updates.
