The update information icon came on the TV maybe a few weeks ago, and I just got the update today in Canada.
Does anyone know how to access the settings menu? I know it's available at the bottom of the home screen, but that defeats the purpose of it being a side menu that allows you to continue watching.
This reminded me to check for updates on my 810c? Oh boy was it laggy. I forgot how bad the TV's Android ran compared to the Nvidia shield TV.

Isn't nougat supposed to have a built in DVR functionality, like if you have a flash drive or external HDD connected?
I'm hoping the x930d eventually gets this, as I believe the x800 is pretty similar under the hood.
Yeah I just installed and I'm all ready having issues. So far it's just Hulu, it keeps looking up.
Edit video stops working on all apps after changing apps. Nothing works until you reset the tv. 7.0 is shit..........
Really? Already? I just got the marshmallow update only a month ago. I have the X850D. Not available yet for this model. When did the X800D get the Marshmallow update?
I went ahead and installed manually but anyone know why Sony is being so slow about this? Also does installing the update early will it be different than the update Sony sends out if that makes sense?

The new and one and only game can be disabled, crackle and samba can also be disabled. So less bloat, maybe?
Settings is much better imo
Bluetooth is there but wasnt able to pair my head phones. However, I was able to pair the mic on the remote which is nice. You no longer need to point the remote at the tv when using the mic. Unfortunately, you still need to for directional controls.
App multi-tasking
The most interesting thing about this update is Sony beat Xiaomi to 7.0. Who would have thought 4k Smart TVs would be rolling out updates faster than a simple streaming box.
