So I saw the other thread about a Reddit video app and thought "I've browsed everything in the App Store and haven't seen a single reddit app". So I decided to search, and whatdayaknow... hopwatch.
So now I feel like I'm missing something fundamental. I had just assumed the android tv store was way stripped down or something, but no it appears there's just no way to browse around everything like I can on a phone?
Yup. I understand dumbing it down, but there are huge amounts of things that you can't find by browsing the ATV store, you need to search in order to find them... And search with just the right terms.
Its frustrating to know there are definitely apps for ATV I'd love but the only way to find them is looking for suggestions online.
As suggested install Aptoide TV App
The dev has to tag the app as AndroidTV for it to show up in search I believe.
However you can use web play store and install things
Or you can sideload
stripped down. you can sideload apk's but they might not work well if at all. pretty disappointing how bad the android tv play store is.
