Mibox not connecting to Bluetooth unless I repair

by Toxic_Biohazard

So I bought a new mi box and sound bar and use them via Bluetooth (sounds better than digital in for some reason). I can pair them and it works great... however when I leave I put my box in sleep mode and turn the bar off. When I get back in and turn the bar on, the only way to reconnect is to repair it again. The wierd thing is, when I reboot the box, it turns the speaker on for me and connects! Why won't this work in sleep mode? I assume Android only connects to devices on boot :/ any fixes? Thanks.

EDIT: another thing: If i leave the soundbar on all the time, it will stay connected while the box is in sleep mode. Thats the temporary solution i guess, is to just leave it on.

Did it disconnect before you added apps to you AndroidTV? Did you sideload any apps? Maybe have apps that use Bluetooth? It could be an app causing the problem.

But then again your remote stays connected. So it's a guess to try.

I have this problem with one of my miboxes that I have in a closet. It always disconnects and I have to repair. I think the Bluetooth range may be weak, because I don't have this problem when my miboxes are out in the open. I have swapped them too. I think Mibox just has week bluetooth.
