For my TV I can get the update online for android seven, however it still is not showing up through check for updates is there any reason not to go ahead and install now? I guess i'm not sure why they're saying May 24 when I can download and install it now myself?
I was in the same position with my x800D, downloaded the update, extracted and put it on my USB flash drive and updated the TV last night. Everything went smoothly.
