Very nice. Things are setting up for an exciting Android TV portion of Google I/O. Between this, and the TBS & TNT apps that are clearly just waiting for announcements to add launcher icons, they seem to be stacking the deck for a host of app announcements.
Here's hoping this means that the other NBC Universal networks will launch leanback apps as well. USA, Sprout, NBC Sports, etc would all be welcome additions.
WHAT?!?!
Shows with full seasons (albeit with commercials).
Nice.
So for major broadcast networks...that gives us Fox, NBC, ABC and PBS. CBS will probably never come because CBS All Access. No reason CW shouldn't be on Android TV.
I'm curious why most network apps (NBC, CBS, FOX, etc) don't offer a live feed in addition to their catalogues.
It does not show up when I search via the play store on my mibox, but I can install through the web on a desktop onto the device. I guess that works.
Thanks!
Edit: does not support slingtv log ins. Sad day.
Goodness, finally! Now all I want is NBC Sports and I'll be a very happy guy.
Doesn't work in Europe :(
If only they'd fix their news app for Android tv
Those chimes are sexy as hell but why is there no Live TV option? And I live in a supported market because I cast the stream from the app to the SHIELD everyday.
OMG NBC finally realizes there is an Android TV.
Come on NBC Sports. Its the only app I'm missing from ATV.
