Try plugging in a ps eye if you have one laying around
You can use a phone or tablet to do that
I have a USB mic plugged into my Sony TV. Works perfectly fine.
Alternatively the Sony Side view remote app has voice functionality as well.
I had a Logitech C270 Webcam I plugged into my SHIELD as a mic while I wait for the spot (I use a Harmony as my remote, so no mic remote for me). Works out of the box with Android/Android TV I believe. You can try that (they're like $20).

Works by Bluetooth. Should work on Sony Android TV 2015 - 2017 range but worth checking. It connects by Bluetooth like the smaller touch remote does. It works on my X905C 2015 TV
Just to add to what people are saying, there's a "smart" remote you can buy that has a mic. Sorry can't find it now but you can usually buy it on eBay.
