What is the correct APK for Android TV apps, if they are not officially supported?

Say I wanna DL the Google Drive app on my Nvidia Shield (to be able to access files on my computer, phone & shield). Now, which one would I DL and install on my Shield, as there are 24 different variants?

I don't know which apk, but you can DL X-plore from Play Store - it allows access to Google Drive's files

its arm based, and will run arm or arm64. DPI is the scaling. I just use nodpi and it scales well enough, but there might be a better option.

edit: sorry was confused and thinking Nvidia Shield K1... updated/fixed

Not exactly sure on DPI choice but imagine nodpi and that the App should scale...

Shield TV (both) is Tegra X1 proc using ARM Cortex-A57

  • 64bit
  • [ARMv8] or [ARM64] or [ARM] apk (first is best)

Shield Tablet (both) is Tegra K1 proc using ARM Cortex-A15

  • 32bit
  • [ARMv7] or [ARM32] or [ARM] apk (first is best)

They have a link to an FAQ right above the download links. Did you try looking there for help?

File Commander is pretty good for G Drive access.
