Hi everyone! I'm new here and just got a 4K Sony Android TV. It's pretty great, but I hate trying to dismiss notification windows while watching a movie! For example, "YouTube just crashed".
My Google and Reddit searches haven't found me an answer yet, perhaps one of you knows of a way? I know I can disable individual all notifications, but I would rather never see any!
Those "app X has stopped responding" notifications aren't a typical app notification, though... Not sure if there's a way to switch them off. Still happening every once in a while on my TV even after the latest update. Seems to be especially frequent when switching from a HDMI source back to TV.
I think the bigger question is how come Sony haven't sorted this yet. Never had the issue before the Marshmallow update, and a factory reset hasn't helped at all.
Rather than disabling such system notifications, I think I'd rather figure out why YouTube was crashing in the first place.
Go into each apps setting snap disable notifications. You won't have recommended items, which is better for my household since I have e young kids who know somewhat how to work it.
