Well. If you want an android box go browse shitty Chinese resellers and shitty pirating forums full of all the latest shitty Kodi addons.
Otherwise. You want a shield.
You say "Android box" which makes me think you're looking at those junky Chinese Kodi boxes that don't have the proper license to even do HD from services like Netflix.
In this sub, we're only going to recommend devices that run the Android TV operating system , so that'll either be a Mi Box or an NVIDIA Shield TV at this time. Those are the only two devices running Android TV that are readily available.
You are not going to get Netflix in 1080p HD and get 1080p 3D video playback on any single Android Box period. It's simply not possible at all. Forget about it completely.
Head over to the Kodi forums for 1080p 3D playback Hardware solutions and then be prepared to compromise a LOT in usability.
This is Android TV, different than those Android Boxes which aren't as good.
However for streaming content to a TV, look at /r/plex
