Netflix audio is ~10 seconds ahead of video on Mi Box for days now

gona try to keep this short..recently netflix would play a show then next episode start and 10 seconds later have a network error and when i clicked accept or whatever it would work next time..then it got worse and just constantly errored. looked through the mi box menus found an update..updated netflix..everything worked, for about a week. Now from a week ago everything functions except audio comes 10 seconds ahead of video and theres no more updates, pausing or restarting doesnt fix it Help?? sorry if this was covered elsewhere but reddit internal search is bad.

edit: forgot to mention all other applications work fine with no audio or video delay

Just a heads up I get this (audio lag) issue with my crappy Samsung Thanksgiving day special soundbar. When it happens I change my mode eg movie, voice, music, and reselect the correct setting it it comes right out of it.

Anyone know where to get the optical phono cable? Might ha e something to do with using phono cable with 5.1?

Edit - reread your question sorry. I also have the Netflix issue. It's the only app that gives me constant issues. Plex will work better with more audio formats if you tell your server 20mbit local quality too. I want to believe it has something to do with my audio setup Netflix doesn't like.
