My Mi Box (version from Walmart) seems to have just stopped working. I can't get anything to display on the TV. I know it is on because the light on the front is on. I've tried it on multiple TVs and multiple cables with no luck. Is there a way to do a factory reset without being able to see anything on the screen?
I have the same exact issue with mine. I posted about it about two weeks ago with no response.
Same deal really, went to wake it up one day and nothing. Tried multiple TVs, multiple cables. It doesn't appear to be super-dead because the white LED will blink when I hit buttons on the remote and it will show up on the AndroidTV Remote app (though it isn't paired).
I've tried a few times to do the recovery mode thing but I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong or video output is just dead, because it doesn't seem to work.
I'm not super helpful....but I guess you're not alone.
See if you can get a picture from recovery mode. Unplug Mi Box. Hold OK and Back buttons. Plug in the Mi Box while holding. Hold for a bit.
