Replacement Remote for the Mi box?

I don't think any of those listed there are the 'new' model, with the mic. If it doesn't have a button for mic, it doesn't have a mic. A very lazy google search did not provide anywhere to buy an official replacement.

Do Amazon Fire remotes work with Mi Box? I don't see why they wouldn't.

I got my son the cheap Amazon Fire remote after he broke his; now I'm thinking of getting another for our bedroom as the Nexus remote is noisy to use when someone is sleeping next to yeh.

I personally think the voice search is a bit of a gimmick. I doubt you'll use it much.

With an air mouse like the one built into remotes like that one, and by using an app like 'set orientation', you can use virtually any app made for Android Phones without issues.
