I've been very impressed by the performance of the MiBox with Kodi.
Muuuuuuch better than the Fire Stick.
Yes but use SPMC
The Mibox is so nice that I regret getting my Nvidia Shield TV. I do not game and the performance(non 4k for now) has been just as good/fast as the shield tv.
Yes, you'll love it
buttery smooth
No issues and I set two up as gifts and heard no complaints. Also it's nice to have the play store.
I liked the mibox and it did run Kodi well. BUT, it would crash whenever I used Netflix. I'm not sure why. It was annoying so I returned it.
No auto frequency to 24p :/
Yes, here it runs good.
But if it was today I would just buy a Chinese android box with full Android since it's less limited (as stange as that is) and a chromecast and would probably be cheaper and more apps would run and cast support would be less buggy, and I don't use any other TV apps like Netflix and other American stuff to need Android tv
I heard that iptv plus VPN can be laggy on kodi. Cannot confirm mysrlf
It runs it fine, about the same as my 4K Fire TV I'd say. Neither of them work well if you set up your skin to have a bunch of widgets on the home screen.
for 1080p works wonder, never tried 4k.
It's biblical

It works well but make sure you brush up on how you can link your Kodi profile to an external drive and use that, otherwise you'll fill up the measly 8GB internal storage (more like 5GB because of system software) very quickly once you start adding to the library.
It is so nice, I'm impressed with mine, the hardware is so fast!
But be prepared to front some issues using Netflix (check on Mi forums, there are tons of users having the same problem, including myself).
I just hope this new Netflix plugin for Kodi 18 could help us to solve that: https://youtu.be/FUuDE7svBa8
It works, but I don't think the playback is particularly smooth. I notice lots of dropped frames.
Yup. Works great for me.
