Wait so does that mean we can write to a Hardrive connected to the shield remotely? (I have a drive connected to my shield for plex that I can view the contents of through NAS but I can't directly write to it)
Does this mean I need a Plex pass to use the usb tuner? No integration in the live channels app?

I hope this update finally resolves the issue with Live Channels not being able to play back AC3 sound on TVs that don't support it. I thought I read somewhere that the fix had been committed for the next update, which should be this one.
The wallpaper was changed to a simple pattern. What an aesthetic improvement over the green blood cells.
Does this mean no more copying directly to the Plex folder?
I dont see the point in buying the hauppague win-tv tuner for 65 quid when you can buy the hd homerun for 100 and not have to worry about having the shield on and having the usb getting hot
How about they allow you to sideload plex channels already.
And while they keep playing with cute little new features they disregard the picture quality, banding issues, refresh rates bugs and no resolution auto switching...
Disclaimer: Haven't installed the update yet. I'm just assuming these things haven't been fixed as usual.
Edit: So the SHIELD is the most expensive media box and it can't even play media properly (you know the functionality that most people use it for) without some major issues that have never been fixed and I'm being downvoted?
